Welcome to Crown Regency Hotel & Towers

The Crown Regency Hotel & Towers stands as a significant landmark in Cebu City, nestled along Osmeña Boulevard. This hotel, once a beacon of luxury and comfort, still holds a firm place in the hearts of many visitors and locals alike. Though it currently carries a moderate rating of 3.7, its central location near key sites like Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro, and the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu makes it an appealing choice for travelers seeking accessibility and convenience.

Guests often praise the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms. The hotel offers a variety of accommodations, from executive suites to presidential suites, catering well to families and business travelers. The apartments with multiple bedrooms, kitchens, and living areas provide a home-like experience that enhances longer stays. Cleanliness remains a highlight, and the staff is recognized for their attentive and professional service, swiftly addressing any issues such as clogged sinks or maintenance concerns.

However, the hotel’s wear shows in certain areas. Several reviews mention the need for updates and restoration, with some floors currently out of use. Small inconveniences, like hot running water or limited complimentary toiletries, can detract from the overall experience but are often met with understanding due to the hotel’s price range. Breakfast offerings and amenities lean towards simplicity, leaving room for improvement to match modern traveler expectations.

Despite these drawbacks, the Crown Regency Hotel & Towers shines in its location. Being near Fuente Osmeña Circle, guests have easy access to malls, restaurants, hospitals, and supermarkets—ideal for those who prefer to explore the lively city scene rather than staying indoors. The hotel captures a nostalgic charm, reminiscent of its heyday before natural disasters and management changes impacted its grandeur. Long-term visitors express loyalty, appreciating the hotel’s enduring appeal and value.

Overall, while Crown Regency Hotel & Towers may not compete with the latest five-star resorts, it remains a practical and comfortable option for visitors who prioritize location, space, and a touch of Cebu’s rich history. It offers a solid base from which to explore the vibrant cultural and commercial heart of Cebu City, balanced by sincere service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Overall I had a comfortable stay. I spent so little time in the hotel b/c I was always out; but location was good for everything I was doing. The hotel does need a restoration & updating. Some floors are not in use anymore it seemed. From the locals it used to be the spot to stay prior to the typhoon that hit a couples years ago.

Every year I will visit my family and stayed this hotel. Years ago this hotel was one of the best hotel in the Philippines but now lots of high end or 5 stars were built. And also when the owner of this hotel had died the management had changed. I think I stayed this hotel almost 10 times and most of the time I was in Executive Suite. This year I was in Presidential Suite due to renovation of the place. The night we arrived to the suite it wasn’t ready to check in. It was so dusty, the drape were dirty and the floor as well. So I told the manager and they cleaned it and finished late night because we’ve checked in around 7 PM. The bathroom were nice but it was so dirty and felt disgusting. Manager told me they will clean and change the drape tomorrow. So we went out the following day and came back late afternoon and room still the same, no phone and dirty. So they cleaned it again the moped and they polish the floor and came out nice. They offer me to move to other room still presidential but little smaller what we had. The manager and facility apologizing of what we had experienced and they give whatever we wanted. They gave us fruits unlimited drinks or whatever but big deal. Its nice if they gives us meal of that inconvenienced we had experienced. The great thing of this hotel is the center location going to South or North. Very accessible for public transportation and groceries.

Great sized apartment, kitchen, living area and dining space. Has an upstairs with 2 bedrooms, perfect for a family stay. Apartment was very clean and to a high standard Location is central and many stores and restaurants locally. Also there is a Robinsons supermarket around the corner if you wish to dine in or just get snacks etc. Would definitely use this apartment again

Very nice hotel. Big room, big toilet, clean and excellent service. And it’s in the middle of the center city which is near to hospital, malls, coffee shops, fast food, etc. will surely comeback.

We think this hotel is very nice. Our room is excellent as is the comfort room. Few complimentary things apart from water . No room slippers. Towels are quite good . Two tubes of shampoo and body wash. No liquid in dispenser in shower so take supplied tubes in with you. We forgot to bring our toothpaste as usually there is some supplied. But not here so remember to bring. Breakfast was limited but adequate and that was enough for us . No safe in our room . But adequate space for writing on long phone charging area with chair . My partner decided to try the Sky Walk and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is an outside smoking area on the ground floor near the front entrance.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms and staff for how low the price was per night. Just stayed 1 night but rooms were clean and spacious...pool was closed but didn't affect my plans at all and some small things here and there around the property need fixing/renovation but overall very pleased
